1946	Private Company founded at Toshima-ku Tokyo.
1951	Development of Aluminum Grids started.
1955	Release of 26L/cm and 28L/cm parallel grids.
1958	Release of 34L/cm and 40L/cm focused and cross grids. Export to the United States started.
1959	Mitaya Manufacturing Co., Ltd. established with business expansion.
1965	Affiliate company, The Mitaya Shoji Co., Ltd. founded as a sales division.
1967	Factory built in Miyoshi city, Saitama pref.
1981	Factory built at current site in Kawagoe-city, Saitama pref. Floor area 5,655sq.m, total site area 13,130sq.m. Release of Micro Fine 60L/cm high density grids.
1986	Release of ultra high density grids - Super Micro 80L/cm and Mammography Grids.
1996	Release of grids for bed side x-ray photography, 34L/cm or 40 L/cm with low ratio (3:1) minimizing cut-off in the usage of inclined surfaces such as beds.
1999	Acquisition of ISO-9001(JQA-QM4013).
2000	Density customization for FPD up to 100Lines/cm started.
2007	Selected by the Small and Medium Business Administration as one of the "300 Healthy Manufacturing Companies". Release of MS-LD Grid with fiber inter-spacers (40L/cm).
2008	Acquisition of ISO-13485(JQA-MD0026)
2011	QCQA phantom jointly developed with Tohoku University.
2012	Registered location of company moved to Kawagoe city, Saitama-Pref.
2013	Presented with the Kawagoe-city Manufacturing Award.
2018	The Mitaya Shoji Co., Ltd. merged to Mitaya Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
2019	Pixel aligned grid jointly developed with Kanazawa University.
